Computer-Aided Laboratories

Definition

Computer-aided or computer-based laboratories facilitate interactive experiments (often science-related) that are accomplished with the use of a computer and various sensor devices.

Features

Computer-aided laboratories allow teachers and students to do science experiments (such as with physics-related topics) that allow the immediate display and analysis of data from an electronic sensor device or devices, that often include a computer, sensor, and display. A classroom experiment is accomplished with real time interactivity of the retrieved data and its computer analysis.
